what is nem 2.0 important? why april 15th?
NEM 2.0 is PGE’s current system for compensating solar homeowners. Their current compensation for electricity put into the grid by solar will decrease by over 60% when NEM 3.0 goes into effect April 15th. Homeowners who file the proper paperwork before the deadline can get grandfathered into NEM 2.0 for 20 years. We recommend customers file with us before March 30th.
